iConnect is one of the leading providers of Trading Community Management solutions for business-to-business e-commerce. iConnect's iExchangeWeb enables the rapid creation and ramping of blended communities where partners can transact, collaborate and securely exchange information using any data type, platform, or message protocol.

Our proven Community Deployment methodology will assist the deployment team consisting of members from both the sponsoring organization and iConnect in successfully enabling the organizations' trading partners. As part of the Deployment strategy, iConnect will create a Community Deployment Guide to ensure a successful implementation. The Community Deployment Management Guide will provide a step-by-step methodology for the management and deployment of a Trading Partner Community. The guide defines the responsibilities for the participants in the Trading Partner Deployment program, timelines and reporting requirements.

 

Project Management
Successful projects have many factors in common. One of which is the development of a team between ourselves, the client and the suppliers. This increases the likelihood of the service being delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets the requirements of the user community.A level of Project Management is required to ensure that all required tasks assigned to the Community Deployment Team are completed satisfactorily and that deliverables produced by the Community Deployment Team meet the sponsoring organization's expectations. An experienced Program Manager is assigned from iConnect to provide the required coordination and management. The Program Manager is the primary point of contact for the Deployment Team. The Program Manger is responsible to insure that the following occur:
  • Development of work plans and resource requirements
  • Management of personnel assigned to the project
  • Communication between the HUB, the trading community, and iConnect program team
  • Elevating and ensuring resolution of issues that impact the success of the program
  • Reporting progress against the agreed schedules

Online Survey
One of the many hurdles to a successful supplier deployment program is the sponsoring organization's understanding of the community's capabilities as it relates to the requirements of their program. In order to gather information regarding the capabilities of the participants, iConnect offers an online survey that will collect and track a community member's ability and willingness to comply to the program requirements.

Deployment Tracking
After the data is collected, it is then sorted and placed into our deployment tracking portal that provides instant access to the status of the participant. The data that is collected and stored is based upon the data requirements set forth by the sponsoring organization. The tracking portal also provides status reports based upon a variety of parameters. For example, the portal can create a report specifically to provide AIAG MMOG compliance data for the Material Manager or Director of Quality.
